Praxis Tech
The workspace for percussion techs.
You are hired by five programs, texting four directors, and reconstructing what you did in September when it is time to follow up. Praxis Tech is one private place for the clients, dates, notes, AI-assisted drafts, recaps, and billable work — without turning every school into another login.
Available now. No card to start, and nothing charges automatically when the trial ends.
What it does
Everything between “can you come Tuesday?” and the follow-through after the job.
Built around the way service work actually runs: one business, many client organizations, and a hard line between what is yours and what you choose to share.
Every program in one place
Client organizations and their contacts, kept side by side. Moving between the schools you serve does not mean a separate account for each one.
Requests, availability, confirmed dates
Publish when you are open, take booking requests, and turn the ones you accept into confirmed services in your workspace.
Private service notes
What you actually worked on, kept for you. Notes are versioned and append-only, so the record of what happened cannot be quietly rewritten later.
Get past the blank page
Select adult-only provider notes to create an editable Director recap or clinic-prep draft. It is private, review-only help — never an automatic message.
Director recaps you choose to send
Write a recap, publish it to the director. Your private notes never become a shared recap automatically — sharing is always a decision you make.
Keep billable work with the service record
Keep completed billable work beside the service that produced it. Record-only invoice status appears only where it has been enabled and verified; Praxis does not send invoice documents or collect your payment.
A public profile for the work you offer
Optional and off by default. Show your services and open dates without exposing client names, private notes, or confirmed-service details.
How it works
One pass through a job.
The same shape whether it is a single visit or a full season.
- 1 · Add the clientThe program, and the director you actually talk to.
- 2 · Confirm the serviceDate, time, what kind of call it is, and what it pays.
- 3 · Work, then log itPrivate notes while it is fresh, not three weeks later.
- 4 · Review the recapStart with your own writing or an editable AI draft, then choose the adult recipient and the words they should see.
- 5 · Track billable follow-throughKeep completed billable work with the service. Record-only invoice status appears only when it is enabled for your workspace; your director still pays you directly.
Pricing
$7 a month. Thirty days free, no card.
One price for the whole workspace — every client, service, private note, AI-assisted draft, and deliberate recap. No per-client fee, no percentage of your work.
Monthly
$7 / month
Billed monthly. Cancel whenever.
- The entire workspace, no feature tiers
- Unlimited client organizations
- Services, private notes, AI-assisted drafts, and recaps
Yearly
$70 / year
Two months cheaper than paying monthly.
- Everything in monthly
- One charge a year instead of twelve
- Same workspace, same everything
The trial does not turn into a charge. It starts without a payment card, and Praxis will not take one you did not enter. Continuing on a paid plan requires you to choose monthly or yearly and deliberately enter payment details yourself.
Two different kinds of money, and they never touch. The $7 is what you pay Praxis for your workspace. Your directors pay you directly. Where record-only invoice status is enabled, Praxis records the status you enter; it does not send invoice documents or collect that money.
For band directors
Hiring a tech, not buying software.
Praxis Tech is bought by the tech, not by your program. There is nothing for you to purchase, install, or administer.
See what they offer
If your tech publishes a profile, you can see their services and open dates without seeing their client list, private notes, or confirmed-service details.
Get recaps in writing
After a call, your tech can send a recap of what was worked on. They may start with an AI-assisted private draft, but you get only the summary they chose to share—not a feed of internal notes.
No student data involved
Tech holds adult operational records — clients, dates, services, invoices. It does not collect student-private information, so hiring a tech who uses it does not put your students in a new system.

Straight answers
Before you sign up.
What happens when the trial ends?
You are not charged automatically. To continue on a paid plan, choose monthly or yearly and enter payment details yourself. During early access, access-state enforcement remains under production review.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the membership panel in your workspace. You keep full access through the period you already paid for — cancelling on day two of a month does not switch anything off that day.
What if a payment fails?
You get seven days of full access while the card is retried, and the workspace tells you the date it would run out. Fix the card in that window and nothing is interrupted.
What if I hate it?
Ask within thirty days of your first payment and it is refunded in full. Access ends when the refund goes through, which is the honest version of a money-back guarantee.
Do my directors need accounts?
No Tech membership is required for a director to view a published public profile or a deliberately shared recap. Any future authenticated client portal will use a separate, explicit invitation.
Is my client list private?
Yes. Your public page shows only what you put on it — your services and open dates. Client names, notes, and invoices are never on it.
What does the AI do?
It turns only the adult-only provider notes you select into an editable recap or clinic-prep draft. It does not use student information, choose a recipient, send a message, or publish anything.
Early access boundaries
What Tech does not do today.
Tech is intentionally narrow during early access. These limits are part of the current offer, not features hidden behind a higher tier.
No client payment processing
Your directors pay you directly. Praxis charges only for your Tech membership and never takes a percentage of your service work.
No sendable invoice documents yet
Record-only invoice status appears only after it is enabled and verified for the workspace. Tech does not currently generate or deliver invoice documents.
No connected calendar or client portal yet
Use the internal Tech schedule today. Google and Outlook connections and an authenticated director portal require separate releases.
If one of these boundaries blocks your real workflow, tell us before you subscribe.
